People
make many things with their sticks and string; sweaters, scarves, and blankets are typical fare. For the more adventurous knitters - or in this case, crocheters - non-traditional subject matter puts wind in their sails (see Going40's coverage of the MN State Fair). A tray of pastries? Why not! It's the perfect Lenten indulgence.
Unless you've given up yarn for Lent, and then I'm just sad for you...

Wow. Can you imagine putting all that time and energy into crocheted pastries? I love the things that people do!
Oh giving up yarn would be very very bad.
How about something less indulgent for those marking Lent?
